I was doing a search for a custom fireplace mantle shelf. In doing my research I came across Wester's Custom Build. After reaching out, it was 3 minutes later I got a response back. He answered all my questions and after some back and forth I was locked in with measurements, stain color, and an expedite build schedule. I had Westers build me a custom distressed mantle to finish out a fireplace project and had a great experience throughout the entire process. Walter custom built our FP mantel for our new house. Aside from asking for half of the money up front everything went well. That just makes you nervous as to whether they will show back up. He stayed in touch with us, sent a picture of the product to see if we were happy with it. Made the changes we ask and had the mantel ready when promised. Amazing furniture, very sturdy, and hand built by a local craftsman. No particle board, made out of real wood, not manufactured.

Walter refinished an older wood dresser that he found in a custom color and allowed me to pick out my own hardware to make it custom. He used cabinet grade paint which will last for years! He kept in communication with me the whole time.

With measurements and product information specifically customized for me, he was very helpful. I ended up not purchasing because my husband wanted to first work on a revamp for our bathroom and laundry room. I did save Walter's page info for later.
